 The Australian Youth Climate Coalition is Australia’s largest youth-run organisation, with the mission to build a generation-wide movement of young people to solve the climate crisis. Currently their focus is on preventing public money from funding new gas projects.

Rising tide are a diverse movement demanding Australia honours its commitment to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. Using peaceful actions they aim to defend the climate particularly from fossil fuel projects.

Surfers for Climate are building a

movement that see the risk that climate breakdown poses to oceans and surfing, and are motivated to learn and act. They fight to prevent new coastal and offshore fossil fuel developments with surfers playing key roles in these campaigns.

Blue minds aims to educate people about the issues facing our oceans to create the next generation of leaders in this field. The current school curriculum lacks proper education about the ocean system and they are on a mission to change this.

Moonee Valley Sustainability aerie working to inspire the people of Mooney Valley to act in a more climate conscious way. They run a repair hub, clothes swap, food swap, waste sorting and clean ups to improve Moonee Valley for community and nature.

MRWA Advocate for clean and health rivers in the Maribyrnong river catchment and try to connect people to Country through the river.

Since 2005 this group has been protecting and restoring the Birrarung / Yarra river. They run events that connect people to the river including clean ups, fishing events and talks, with the aim of recounting people to their local green spaces.

The Friends of Edwardes Lake are a group of locals who are passionate about caring from the lake and surrounding wetlands. They are involved in scrub clearance, litter picks and caring for injured wildlife.

Landcare Vic are an organisation with over 600 individual groups and 60,000 volunteers working on a wide variety of environmental projects across the state. They run events, offer grants, spread awareness and information about projects in Victoria.
